HISS Tank has received further information on the upcoming Sgt Slaughter figure which is an exclusive for SDCC this year:
There are going to be two different versions of the Sgt. Slaughter 3.75-inch figure – a primary figure (PF) and variant figure (VF), sold separately.
Re: accessories, both the PF and VF will come with a whistle and a non-removable hat. The PF also comes with a weight belt, baton, and microphone; the VF also comes with a machine gun and revolver.
There is the potential for the PF and VF to be sold online at HasbroToyShop.com following SDCC, but that is not guaranteed based on the “special edition” nature of the PF and the “special SPECIAL edition” nature of the VF.
Pricing is TBA.
As announced at New York Toy Fair: Sgt. Slaughter himself will be present at the Hasbro booth at SDCC (date/time TBA).

I like the headsculpt because it looks very close to the original, but for some reason I'm not really feeling that body. I still think I like the BP/Sarge better
SVantley says
I going to pick this one up, good thing i'm going to the sdcc.

He looks small.

I think I may get two....for custom work :(
Sadly, the Copperhead torso would have been better than making an all new torso that just seems to lack any and all detail
Alyosha says
Dig it! (and here's why)....
The Sarge was always a big guy, with a bit of a belly (and more so later in his career), but he was never that muscularly defined and this figure depicts that pretty well. I prefer the wrestling version over the one with the ROC movie legs, but both are pretty nice. Smooth sculpt, crisp details (boots and belts especially) and specific/correct accessories for each version. Really nice work H-bro.

Gotta admit that I'm disappointed by the look of these figures... Guess I won't be too upset if I don't get them.

looks like his wrists have articulation now too? I don't know, something says this is a custom job but might be the proto for the SDCC item since there is the pins in the shoulder joints like the protos shown last year for the supposed 2010 PoC figures had. Looks like the inner thigh screws are black as well?
