Are you a customizer or simply enjoy customs and the art of creating your own figures and vehicles? Well then you’re going to dig this. The very FIRST Custom Toys Convention is coming to New York on Saturday, March 26, 2016!
The Far Side Custom Toy Convention will have some of the most talented artists in the hobby on hand. There, you can learn, trade tips and styles, buy customs (of course!) and even enter the custom contest to see how your piece of art stacks up against the rest!
You’ll find your favorite toys, comics and much more. In to Cosplay? Well get your gear ready because Cosplayers get in for FREE! Diger Mesch and Pro Wrestler Brimstone will also be in attendance, so it’s already shaping up to be a good time! Admission is $10, with kids under 10 getting in for Free.99.
Want additional details? No worries, we’ve got you covered. Check out the full flyer after the break!

The very first of its kind. I think it is an awesome idea. If I can manage to get the time off I would love to attend. I long for more events like these. Kudos to the guys organizing it.

Good stuff going on here, I'd like to make it as well, if time permits it.

I just spoke with the organizer of the convention. It seems Rob Bruce from the TV show Comic Book Men will be a guest as well. Seems like a fun time.

reminds me of slayercon. It only happened the one time (that I know of) and almost didn't happen at that because of a hurricane (Irene I think). That was before slayer designs changed its name to angel forge. It was very fun.

Can't wait till this show. Angel forge will be there, Rob Bruce, loads of customs and artists. Toy vendors and a few potential first looks at some future Kickstarters. Hope to see you all there. We will be doing a podcast from the show. Feel free to stop by and introduce yourselves. Would love to have some attendees hop on with us!!

It will rock!
It slowly has been growing into a very cool event, it really needs more customizers to represent, I hope all the artists in the area show up for it.
