HissTank member Phweep is back with a team of customs “a long time in the works.” Street Fighter 2. Based on characters from Capcom’s hit 1991 arcade game. Hasbro bought the toy rights to the characters sometime in 1993 and released a line of 12 figures and a few vehicles. The success of Street Fighter II is credited for starting the fighting game boom during the 1990s which inspired other game developers to produce their own fighting game franchises, popularizing the genre, and setting off a renaissance for the arcade game industry in the early 1990s.

This set of figures has been a long time in the works. Many many hours went into making them what they are. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

And they are an actual tribute to an era of G.I. Joe that I utterly loved as a kid.
