This started as a project to find some of the original parts that Hasbro designers used back in 1980-81 to create the earliest joe vehicles. A lot used parts from Tamiya Military model kits, bashed into details, or in some cases, actual use. You can see the parts clear as day when you find them. The HISS uses bogey wheels from a T-62 Russian tank model, and they inspired me to try this custom out, starting with the tread area. Beyond that, I wanted a torn up, battle damaged hiss, but I went a little overboard with the bulletholes. Sometimes with weathering, less is more. I am leaning hard towards using this in some sort of techno-Viper garage dio, but I am not sure how i want to start.

That's incredible. Given the incredible amount of damage, though, maybe a Joe firing-range dio would be more appropriate? ;)
