There will be a formal press release as soon as we have confirmation of Hasbro's final OK and everything going to the printers, but here's an answer or two...
It is a full length comic book (32 pages), artwork designed and chosen for our target audience. It was funded through a fire service grant and several private industries donating sponsorships, they are acknowledged in the pages normally used for advertising. This is a complete one shot story using six G.I. Joe characters to educate and entertain kids while talking about fire and life safety. unless I am out of date, it is Inferno's first comic appearance with a fair sized role.
The comic is initially published in 3 languages, English, Polish, and Spanish. Devil's Due really committed themselves to this project, and this comic has the same level and quality of professionalism as all of their titles.
Distribution is my next big headache, but there should be enough to go around.

I never did come across any of these and have been looking for quite a while. Devil's Due told me they have no plans on ever making it available to purchase, but they didn't say whether or not they actually have any sitting around. As a comic book completist and someone who once seriously considered firefighting as a career, I'd love to get my hands on one (well, actually, all three languages)! Any help out there?
