Evidently the club figures are now shipping, as mine arrived today. For a "freebie" it's a pretty good looking figure, but I would've like to have seen a new headsculpt rather than the re-used re-tooled version of Mercer from the '06 Con.
The color palette is well chosen and fit's the character as well as the weapons choices. The paint details are crisp and very much a hallmark of the club offerings (other than the occasionally wonky eye). The new filecard in lieu of a membership card is also a nice addition.
Overall, a very good looking and long overdue addition to the RAH vintage line. I hope to see more intersting stuff like this from the club in the future.

I love that figure and am almost tempted to join the club for it...almost. the only thing stopping me is I don't want to buy an o-ring figure. maybe I'll trade for it eventually. I think the head is perfect even if it is reused.

Awesome man.I hope mine gets here soon.

I like the figure, but everytime I look at it something just doesn't work....
It's the bandolier. The removable bandolier and gear is a 25th/ME aspect. The O-Rings never had them (except for satchels).
I think the figure would have looked much more vintage with a molded on bandolier.
Would fit better with the rest of the Rawhides.

any other vintage torsos that have a bandolier but no collar that could be painted as a jersey?
Troynos says
I like the removable bandolier and now wish that all the vintage were done that way, but this just isn't a vintage figure with it.
It's something new.
