Meh, not so sure about that... Who knows though, I've seen some of the movie-worn stuff go pretty high on Ebay.

does this mean a re imagining of the viper again? i mean this is an original...not a replica...so if they're selling it does this mean the turtle viper toy mold is dead?
i'm thinking no...but i'm hoping yes

Please say these ugly ass vipers are done with...they were ridiculous IMO.
General Hawk says
Uhhh, it's just a movie costume for auction. It's no indication one way or another that these designs will continue on into future films.

Even though the figures were mostly meh (I did buy two), that costume is not bad. The boots and mask are the high points imo.

The figure starts to look decent when you replace the head IMO.
But my guess is that Turtle viper will be replaced by new viper. Its a GI Joe tradition.

Well I see this as four possibilities...
1) The new film might have a redesign on the Viper costume...don't get to happy at that idea. A redesign could mean anything from a completely new concept (which could be easily just as disappointing) or it could be a more classic look.
2)The new film's Vipers may have been tweaked slightly, so that while its not EXACTLY the same, but modified enough that it warrented new ones made...remember each Batman film has had a differant suit (which may also be a toy marketing thing).
3)Studios some times let this stuff go on purpose to generate some buzz for a film (or in this case maybe the upcoming cartoon)...remember they make a few of most costumes, so the dozen or so we saw onscreen there may have been a dozen or so more.
4)Cash and I think this is the least likely thought...RoC made money but it didn't do blockbuster money.
Either way for the fan that can afford it, nice haul.
