Did someone forget to mention that Roadblock works with the public face of the Joe team now?

Looks like a solid start to the second story arc here... I look forward to reading the full book! Love the art, saw that Roadblock was going to be in this issue and was wondering also if people forgot, glad to see Beachhead "addressing" it in a similar way that Flint did with the "while you were doing Blackhawk down in Warrington"... it seems like there is some animosity between the teams.

Ah I missed Beachhead's line completely. That's what I get for reading Hisstank on my phone just after I wake up.

I think animosity is about right. There's always some ribbing going on, but Beachhead's seems a bit beyond ribbing especially when added to Flint's comment from Cobra Files.
I hope they explore that a bit more.

Hello, I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. Joe fan since 1983.
I just felt the need to chime in on this. For the love of all things holy would someone explain to IDW, and Chuck Dixon especially, that having GI Joe feature the same 6 or 7 Joes over, and over, and over, and over completely misses the point of what makes GI Joe great.

i think when your'e a writer and you've given a group you kind of fall in love with those characters. they're yours to shape and do with as you will so you like that group, you're comfortable with that.

I agree with Ash here. I got the advertising that comes with Roadblock especially since The Rock played him in the latest movie... but it would not hurt to use this time to give an update to a new character. If the mission called for a machine gunner, including Rock N Roll would have been great... or introduce Repeater.
