Hmmm.... good thing there's a relaunch (another one) for september. the character lineup is good and some of the plot was interesting (duke's backstory, some of cover girl's) but most of it was poorly handled (is Monk a straight up villain now? Siren was introduced from the get go, i thought i missed some issues).

Female Big Boa? Did a bucker of stars write this?
Jinx723 says
So all those steroids Big Boa took went beyond 'man boobs'???
Glad I didn't waste my time on this "season" of GI Joe.

A female Big Boa is not a bad idea. Gives the character, and story line, a different twist...

Paul Allor has taken what Fred Van Lente started and done a great job of telling new stories that do not seem like a rehash of the old DDP or Marvel line.
Introducing Siren to tell the history of Cobra as more than just a disgruntled citizen's militia is a nice twist and it does not affect what came before the IDW series.
I also want to see some Bossfight versions of the Commanders through history especially the one in Japan.
Allor has also taken Hashtag, who could have been a disaster of a character and made her into a nice empathetic character for us to connect with the situations that the Joes are going through.
A rookie who may not understand the way things work on the team or in combat scenarios. She is our eyes and ears for the missions. Hashtag is not just a social media junkie who tags along with the Joes. She is now a full fledged member of the team. She gives the audience someone to relate to. How many of us might have aspired to be a Joe. She gets thrust into it and it is not all birthday cake and ice cream.
As for Big Boa I like how they took the role and actually made her a trainer. Instead of training Cobras though, she starts them off young. Indoctrinating the kids when still impressionable. So much so, that some of them attack the Joes. Big Boa is definitely an interesting character now, instead of a figure that was changed midstream or boring muscle.
I, for one, hope Allor comes back to the book in September and brings a whole bag of new stories with him.

Female Boa at least has the helmet and sorta looks like ARAH Boa.
