Looks like Hisstank sponsor BBTS is getting a 3rd printing run of the staple G.I. Joe Classified Series Special Missions: Cobra Island Cobra Trooper. This may be the very last time we see this version of the Cobra Trooper available from a factory run since Hasbro has officially stated that all future reissue of existing figures are on hold to allow the back up of G.I. Joe action figures to flow through the system.

    Kind of cheap for BBTS to raise the price that much.

    These were about $30 from an Amazon seller not that long ago. I feel like BBTS should have been closer to 29.99.

    Vipers are actually tougher to find than Troopers, now. Hopefully, Vipers will be carried at "lower" prices like the Troopers seem to have been the past few months.

    $36 isn't bad if you missed out. Stop faulting a company for, you know, trying to make money. Margins are extremely small on collector's lines so IMO it's a win/win - Collector's that missed out can get one at a reasonable price VS eBay and BBTS makes some extra scratch.

    I don't know. They sold all the other Cobra Island stuff for 25.99. Baroness is 44.99 and Breaker is 46.99. Much smaller markups.

    I think they are taking advantage of a perceived high demand here.

    Maybe. But BBTS benefits from not being perceived of as exploitative. This seems almost like scalping. Other customers might not agree. But it leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I'm a frequent customer.

    I have a couple of these already but always wanted one more. I also agree with you that I was a little surprised at the increase at BBTS and saw that amazon seller for $30 I think too and debated and missed it.

    Because this is from something a little more reliable, I did put an order in for one. I just loved this version of a trooper when it came out.
