Zartan can alter his skin color at will to blend in with his environment. He’s a master of make-up and disguise, ventriloquist, linguist, acrobatic-contortionist, and practitioner of several mystic martial arts. All this makes him almost impossible to find or capture. When Hit & Run and Torpedo close in on him, he heads into the swamp and uses every trick he knows to escape from the persistent G.I. Joe pair.

G.I. Joe 50th Anniversary Zartan
Pros
Solid parts and deco used.
Cons
Wrong hand gun included
Overall
Zartan is one of the stronger figures included in the G.I. Joe 50th Anniversary 3-packs. It has solid use of parts and a good deco. I personally would not have included a knife with no holster, and I would have used the better gun used in the 25th anniversary version. Over all the “figure” itself had some very good choices for parts and will be big for guys looking to make customs.

Solid figure with bad weapons selection.

He's a great figure, better than the initial 25th offering we got... however I still like the belly shirt version we got a while back... along with a custom made bow, he's my official ultimate Zartan.

I just found this pack last week. Prior to finding it, I read what others were saying about him and was planning to pass. 2 left arms, bad legs, paint issues...
So I found it last week, the arms were correct, paint looked good and I decided to buy it. Unpacked him and I really like it. I agree, the weapons selection sucks and the missing sheath is disappointing but overall this is a cool version of one of my favorite Cobra characters!

The POC Hawk shirt underneath the 50th version just doesn't jive with me...

Kinda want this now, or wait and trade folks when they dump their old versions. Ionno yet but the retaliation version I have been using just seems inadequate now.

I really dig this fig but like others have said, he strays a little to far from the original design to be my ultimate Zartan. Here's the one I kitbashed. Details on parts I used are at the link below.

It's a good way for those that missed previous versions to get a decent Zartan.

All nice "Ultimate" Zartans. I will probably do the same and create my own Ultimate Zartan. Although I DO think the 50th Zartan looks cool, it's still a repaint with no new tooling but I grabbed it anyway =)

Love this figure, got mine a week ago and could not be more pleased. He looks like the Sideshow zartan in my opinion. Give him a bow, rifle on a sling, knife holster, and the proper pistol then he will be just perfect!

The photographer deserves all the credit in the world. The pics make me almost want this figure until I remember I have seen it in person and it's probably the worst figure of the entire 50th line.
