I like collecting Joe comics, but I hate the whole variant cover gimmick. I hardly ever get the cover I want for every issue and the majority of the time the covers have nothing to do with the story inside. I do like the Baroness cover. Always pictured her with knives in close quarters combat.

I dig these. Really dynamic. Especially the Duke /Cobra Commander one. Wouldn't mind more of these.

All 3 look fantastic!

I'm not a fan of "pinup" covers that have nothing to do with what's inside. That said, these are Mike Zeck-esque and kinda cool.

i stopped buying variants in the nineties BUT when it comes to Larry's ARAH comic series, i buy the different comic covers simply because one copy will be bound in a hardcover volume as i have been doing with all larry's classic and my canon version of the franchise. i had a rough time with "cwo" but i've enjoyed the recent issues that followed. i love the covers but i do wish they would match what happens inside the comic.

These 'variant' covers are usually better than the regular ones.

I sure wish the art inside would look more like these. People seem to love SL Gallant, but I just find the normal artwork kind of boring.

arah is BY FAR my favorite comic published today but i worry idw is going to do the advertise blitz concerning the new shared universe and allow arah to die in the shadows from zero exposure. i loved gallant, at first, but i think a lot of the outcome is due to his inker. these covers, although , perhaaps, a bit blitzy are more dynamic and fun which i think arah's interiors are ready for. i just want arah's sales to go up and , at least, get some coverage so when i google it, i find ...SOMETHING!
