IDW Publishing Solicitations for August, 2013 - Comic Book Resources

    What's cool this month?

Well, Heartwrencher (An obsecure Dreadnok from the DDP days) is featured on the Special Missions cover?

Baroness and Destro return as Cobra Commander sets his sights on Manhatten and Clockspring's descent into evil continues. Meanwhile Hama seems to be preparing for a major event in his title as we are only 8 issues away from #200!

Also, the first 5 or 6 issues of Van Lente's Gijoe are being collected into tpb form.

  2. Troynos's Avatar Troynos says

The next arc of Special Missions, after the undersea one, features Zartan and the Dreadnoks.

I know, but the fact that an obscure DDP character is appearing is very interesting.

  4. Troynos's Avatar Troynos says

IDW seems to really like using obscure characters when they can.

193 looks good. That is a great cover!

The Joes see that Grunt is being held hostage, and they all rush out of the Canteen to rescue him! I want a poster of that cover!

  6. Fox's Avatar Fox says

Destro now has a metal chest too? Isn't the cover with him and the Baroness a sexual position? They're dressed but that's a porn cover.

  7. Zarana's Avatar Zarana says

Step 1: get heart wrencher on the cover of a Joe comic

Step2: use this cover to convince hasbro to make a figure

    Step 3: army build.

And it might work too if they made a better cover...

Mad Monk is coming to town. I'm getting more and more into the new series, and with the dreadnoks, I should check all of these comics.
