HISS Tank boards member Gyre-Viper has come through with several images of his recently acquired Resolute Alley Viper prototype! The Alley Viper from GI Joe Resolute is a departure from the traditional Alley Viper we are used to seeing. For the sake of comparison, the Pursuit of Cobra Alley Vipers(using the body of the Modern Era version) are shown in this batch of images.
Gyre-Viper has pointed out that the shoulder pads on his prototype will not stay on. Whether this will be fixed before final production is anyone’s guess but keep your fingers crossed! The upcoming Pursuit of Cobra single carded Alley Viper shares the same head with this Resolute version, and comes with the swappable helmet and goggles too. Click on the title bar to see more!

Hasbro... if these shoulder pads are this bad on the finished product...
you should be ashamed. (especially since there's still issues with the
ME AV). Damn things won't stay on.
anyways... I LOVE this figure. nuff said.
congratz to whomever won the ebay auction today.
I think you'll be very pleased with your prototype.

Given the notches, I'd expect the final product to have glued on shoulder pads. Is it me or does an AV without a riot shield seem unnatural?
Gyre-Viper says
yeah... especially the Fury Officer. that thing is too top heavy from the waist up ... and looks ridiculous without a shield or something to sort
of even the score.
Fast_Draw says
Are you sure the shoulder pads won't be glued? Those arms look very similar to the "Resolute" CP Storm Shadow and the pads were glued on him.
Huer-Ta says
Thanks for the pics as always Gyre!
