My kids and I will be watching. Best news of the day for me. I hope they have the PSAs. It just isn't the same without them.

Yup, both my boys and I will be tuning in to both shows. My oldest and I love the Sunbow stuff because we laugh at how silly it was at times. Yet now and then, it really was a good show. My little one thinks Cobra Commander is the man. He tosses his blue blanky over his head, throws his fist in the air, and yells ..."Coooobbbbrrraaaaa!!!!". When I showed them the Renegades preview from the Con they were glued to the computer and the little one yelled "JOES!!!". We're counting the days to October. It's going to be great to sit down and watch Joe everyday with them.

I was just watching the original Jonny Quest, and I remembered how awesome and terrible the show was at the same time. In the first 5min of the first ep, we see three people die, real guns fired, and some (at the time) cutting edge science. Of course, there was no depth to it whatsoever. All the villains were mustache-twirling baddies (usually distinctly foreign too) with no redeeming qualities, and the heroes had no flaws or conflict whatsoever. Kids who watch Aang on Avatar spend a whole episode aangonizing over whether he has the right to take another person's life to save others, or Zuko struggling with family loyalty vs doing the right thing, would find this overly simplistic to the extreme, even if they didn't consciously know what was wrong with it.
