Jungle-Viper is an all new mold & character (at least to the retail world, the Jungle-Viper character has been around since 2005 as a collector's club exclusive) This version of the Jungle-Viper appears to be a homage to the ARAH Night-Viper. The figure is mainly black with green highlights including a removable belt/back vest that features thigh pads and a usable pistol holster. There is another usable pistol holder glued to his right lower leg. The head has two holes on either side of it to attach the night vision visor to. The eyes underneath have no pupils painted on, this is apparently the norm for this figure. Jungle-Viper has the newest swivel/hinge wrist articulation. The right hand can bend up and down while the left can bend right and left, both can also swivel around like normal. The forearms have ball joints on them for two pieces of the camouflage suit. The entire suit is held together with ball socket joints. There is a central piece that acts like a backpack with two “wing” pieces for either side and a top piece to cover the head. As mentioned previously, there are also two pieces that attach to either arm. The arm & wing pieces all have an L or R next to the mold cavity numbers to show you which to attach the parts to. Depending on how you position Jungle-Viper, you can completely envelop in the camouflage suit. Jungle Viper's sniper gun is based on a real world Finnish Lahti L-39, a 20mm anti-tank gun that has been used as a sniper and anti-aircraft gun. It is in three parts that can be assembled or disassembled easily. Jungle-Viper comes with two Pistols, break apart Finnish Lahti L-39 anti-tank gun, Night Vision Visor, 8 part Camouflage Suit and a Cobra Stand
Jungle-Viper has great articulation and the camouflage suit adds a very dynamic look to him. Everything works well together and the only complaint I can make about this figure is that the belt has to move along with the upper torso due to it being connected to the back vest part, otherwise, it’s a must buy army builder.
