You may probably remember him as little Tim Murphy from Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park, but now he is a grown young man. We are talking about Joseph Francis Mazzello III (or just Joseph Mazzello for short) who has taken the role of “Mouse” for G. I. Joe: Retaliation by director Jon Chu.
Mr. Mazzello sat down for an exclusive interview with HeyUGuys. He was mostly interviewed regarding the return of Jurassic Park and his memories associated with the filming, but he had something to say about G. I. Joe 2 as well.
And you’re currently shooting G.I. Joe 2? I am. I’m on hiatus from that at the moment. It’s going great. [Director] Jon Chu is fantastic and we actually went to school together and he texted me one day with a ‘Hey, I have a role for you in my movie, do you wanna do it?’ I told him that for him I’d do craft services… and that was how it happened. I’m loving it – Dwanye Johnson is fantastic. I think you could crush me with his pinky… but he wouldn’t – he’s the nicest, most gentle guy. Channing Tatum is so much fun. We’ve had a blast on set and going out at night experiencing New Orleans the way it’s supposed to be done. The interview happened back in last October and yet it somehow slipped through our watchful eyes. Initial rumors suggested that the character Mouse from Sgt. Savage and his Screaming Eagles will appear to entice young teen girls into the film. Later we heard the news of Joseph Mazzello being cast as the said character.

no offense intended here but the past tense of cast is cast. At least in this case. Unless you're talking about him being casted in plastic.

this is a figure I will get. I like new 3.75". I just hope they don't try too hard to make them all look like the actors again.
Do you think Rock figures will be HTF though because of the cross over love for Dwayne Johnson?

They'll probably make 5+ different Rock figures & Walmart will probably over stock them just like they do with every movie line. I won't buy any when they first show up, I'll be watching for the $5 rollback.

You know, these are reasons why retailers get scared of carrying Joes on the pegs, because people won't buy them until they clearance the stuff. In retail with most cases, if something goes on clearance, it's not selling well. I am not saying buy everything up at soon as it comes out, but support Joes and you shall receive more. Companies look at these things, like how well something is selling, how popular it is, etc.
You have to support something for it to last. People will say, "I want" this and "I want" that. Then, they release new Joes and people are like, "I'll get it at Ross later for cheap" and "I'll get it on clearance." That is why stores get scared when something doesn't sell, they lose money on clearance a lot.
