USA Today has a first look with an exclusive sneak peak at the first wave of G.I. Joe Retaliation movie figures. Figure shown include Roadblock, Cobra Commander, Cobra Trooper, Duke, G.I. Joe Trooper, Red Ninja, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Zartan. The ninja figures shown, plus the new GI Joe trooper feature “rocker ankles”, which were used recently on GI Joe Renegades Scarlett!
The article states that Retaliation movie toys will be released on May 28th, and goes on to say that the first waves will concentrate closely on the movie cast, but there is a promise that “off-screen” Joes and Cobras will follow in subsequent waves.

Good god, those are all win.
That Cobra Commander looks AMAZING. Loving Zartan as well.

Holy crap!! Those are all bad ass!!

Not sure if this means anything, but those pictures have no spring loaded launchers!
Xenos says
I will be buying many of those Red ninjas.
Zartan looks awesome. Snake Eyes is great, and the troopers are pretty darn cool.
My only concern is that it looks like some articulation is missing on a few of the figures. I don't think they all have ankle articulation for example.

Can't view the slideshow at work. IT department hasn't updated my freaking Adobe Flash Player. Can someone post pics?
I like this part of the article:
"The first Retaliation toys will concentrate closely to the cast of characters in the movie, but DePriest promises that "off-screen" Joes and Cobras important to long-time fans will come to stores later in the year."

great looking figures, but it looks like Hasbro simply modified the existing Tatum head with more hair when the face itself really needed to be redone.
