Joecon 2012 is in full swing, and the customizing class is happening right now. Hasbro reps John Warden, Dave Proctor, and Erik Arana stopped by to show off some of the customs they’ve done. Attached inside are pics of their ideas and concepts. None of these are set for production, but they wouldn’t be showing them off unless they wanted some form of feedback. So if you like something you see, let them know.
Of note are the “Kitchen Viper” and “Lawn Viper”. The one-off customs and artwork will be auctioned off at the charity casino night this weekend for those interested!

What exactly is covered in this class, anybody know?

I'm not gonna lie, some of those look terrible. The kitchen viper and Shockwave on the other hand...

Cool customs.

Some looks good, some not. I like dark Night Creeper and RV, green Viper looks very nice. Personaly I think releasing Vipers in desert or woodland camo would be a good idea.

That Backstop figure is pretty boss. I would buy that if it were an actual release. There's a lot of really good customs there.

Definitely some hits and misses there. I really like the Major Bludd and Night Force Stalker.

I'm def digging on the Shockwave. And, what I suspect to be Bullhorn? I wish the jungle SE pic was clearer. I also really like the Mutt and Junkyard because I have them lined up for myself with similar parts.
Jettfire says
All of these look like the designers were having a lot of fun.

I really like quite a few of these and would buy them in a heartbeat if they were released. It's a shame how much better most of these are than the currently released (excluding Joe Trooper) Retaliation figures.
