Overall
An unexpected win for collectors of original ARAH O-Ring G.I. Joe’s. I have seen a lot of mixed feelings over these figures on the forums. It’s one of those items that you want, but you are not sure if you want to fork over your money. I can tell you after getting one in-hand and running it through the motions, it’s going to be an unexpected hit with all of the old school collectors as soon as the word gets out that these are quality.
Worried about breaking your premium O-Ring G.I. Joe? I can tell you right now these are built to last, and the O-Ring they used is very tight fitting, and more like a bungee cord material. All of the joints are tight and sturdy along with a SOLID high quality plastic. The thumbs do have a little play so they will NOT BREAK, and the weapons and gear do fit snug. The paint on the figure seems high-quality and will hold up over time. The bottom line is you can play with this figure and have little worry about breaking it.
If you are a pure O-Ring G.I. Joe Collector and you are on the fence about picking these up, I would not wait long. These figures are going to be limited, and I can see the after market on the Jumbo G.I. Joe’s going way up because a lot of people waited too long to get on board. I know these are a little pricey, but if your into the old school O-Ring G.I. Joe’s, I can’t see any of you passing on these one you get one in-hand.

Thanks for the news. Did they send out an email announcement about this pre-order? I'm in the premier guild and got one about their Star Wars SDCC R2 last week.

Thanks for the heads up. I was such a cheerleader for this line when first revealed but the sticker price changed my mind. Seeing Grunt in the footlocker packaging reverted me back to wanting these again.
Looks like my membership expired. Not sure I want to drop 80 bucks plus the cost of Grunt. I could probably just get it cheaper from an E-tailer or Ebay.

Are the Micros up for pre-order? I see the pic on their site but clicking it seems to go to Grunt.
Also, is Grunt going to be released on a bubble card packaging too? And have we ever seen any mock-ups of the retail packaging for this line yet?
OK, found the link for the micros:

Just a quick heads up for those of you on the Tank that do not know this.... If you right click on any of these images and open in a new window you can see High-Res versions of all our images.
JediJones says
Neither the Grunt nor Micro screen has order buttons visible for me. I'm in the guild and I see the pre-order button when I click on other stuff like the Biker Scout.
