Awesome Figure!

How I loved this figure as a child, but the straight arms are killing it for me. Would've been a definite purchase if he was swivel-armed.
Xerofall says
The ammo pouches around his neck looks awkward. Great figure however.

If the price was lower I might grab one for novelty sake but will pass on these.

If it weren't so darn pricey I might pick one or more up. If the prices were more in line with the Star Wars 12" figures for $10.99 a pop, I'd definitely pick these up. I take it the quality of the plastic is much better and the figures are produced in a limited quantity.

I wonder what a jumbo modern would cost.

Figure looks great. It's just not for me. Hope these guys do well. That's not going to be an easy price point.
The Commander says
It certainly seems these figures aren't moving that quickly. I just want a Cobra Commander and I bet we won't get anything past Grunt, SE, RnR, and Stalker :(

I think these are a stupid idea, I am glad Hasbro didn't produce them. I think they will sit unsold for a long time...way too expensive!!
Just think...either you could buy 4 of these for $400...or put together a good deal down for a used car...

Its just the price. If they were cheaper, I would buy every single one for my boy. Kids would love these. As a collector they arent what I want, and even if they were, I hate to say it..I scoff at the price. It may very well be justified. I really dont know what it costs to produce these in a good, quality plastic at this size. If the walls are scaled as thick as an ARAH figure, theres prolly enough plastic to make a thunderclap out of just one of these.
The price just put them way out of contemplation.
