I'm not going to review these books anymore. They are awful and going nowhere. I really hope we get a new reboot G.I. Joe title along the lines of what Marvel did with the Ultimates. IDW was on a good path when they took the book over but have lost their way big time. Once again because it does not say Transformers on it, nobody up at Hasbro cares what is going on with the title. This book is stuck in the 1980's and not in a good way.

I agree. The covers are awesome, but the stories are hollow inside. I've tried to get back into the series for nostalgia of the old Marvel run, but this is just getting ridiculous. It's the end of Joe on all fronts it seems.

Your comments are very sad, Destro, since I remember it was not long ago when the brand manager told you we needed to support the comics more, to get product like Transformers fans.
I mocked the suggestion, but right away I went out and bought dozens of the most recent IDW compilations to catch up with all the stories. Alas, now all those plotlines have been ditched, ARAH is nowheresville, and even Joe vs. Transformers, (which I at first liked immensely) I have to admit has disappointed greatly as it has gone on.
We done got hornswaggled agin!

Lacrosse statement/quote, repeated from Fridge's file card. As close to Fridge as we'll get in the series.
Haven't been reading the series. Of all the people Cobra Commander thinks are against him why is he trusting Mindbender?

Yeah, I agree with Destro. It feels like we're spinning our wheels here, going nowhere. Plus, Hama forgets half the stuff he wrote. I'm beginning to miss the DDP stuff. At least I felt like we were moving towards something in every issue. Hated all the deaths, but the stories generated intense conversation among fans...

Sigh..yet another run that I simply can't see myself reading.
