During Mezco’s Mezco Con 2021 they showed off a teaser for their next G.I. Joe One:12 Collective figure. Firefly will be joining Destro and Roadblock. All we have is a single shot right now, stay tuned for the full figure reveal, weapons pack out, price, and release date.

Mezco just announced that Firefly will be entering the ranks of their GI Joe line.
They need to cut it out. It is getting harder for me to keep it in the pants (my wallet, that is).
Of course they announce this after Classified FF finally shows up lol.

Even this small preview looks better than Classified Firefly. Largely due to the fact that it doesn't look like a parody of the character. Hearing Lenny talk about Firefly and use the word "ridiculousness" as a term of endearment speaks volumes. This looks straight up badass. He doesn't have a goofy expression or, what resembles, a fragment of shrapnel embedded in his head beneath his balaclava.
I'm exited to see this Firefly but I love Classified Firefly, it's got POC vibes that I love.
I'm excited to see this too, and I'm not especially a Firefly fan, nor do I hate the Classified figure (just not in love with it either). For some reason I have the feeling that this Mezco version is going to be... explosive?
I don't collect Mezco but I will definitely be purchasing this. I was disappointed by the Classified offering but I can almost guarantee this is going to be a Firefly I want for the collection.
