    The Reactions and the Ultimates of GI JOE and Cobra females are less curvy than many vintage depictions of them.

    Oh I noticed that too. It's so baffling - since it's not like these (current) lines are aimed at kids as much as they're aimed at adult collectors.

    It's not the end of the world or anything. Definitely annoyingly safe.

    I'm sure I am in the minority here but, I don't think most of those covers were done very well artistically. They were obviously going for sexy but a lot of the poses look unnatural and even awkward to me. The coloring schemes seem kinda bland imo as well.
