In a bit of…uh, what? news, a new promotional tie in for G.I.Joe is being introduced at Burger King Locations in Europe. So far, the countries confirmed to be offering the media tie in are Spain, Germany and Norway. Strawberry Shortcake offerings are also part of the promotion.
The toys include what appears to be a SHARC with pilot, a Jeep (AWE Striker?) with Driver and H.I.S.S. Tank with driver. The Kids Meal box has Duke on the side. Odd that G.I.Joe is seeing a marketing push in Europe while no sort of promotional tie in has been seen in North America for some time now. Check the video out here –

I always wished back in the day that PAC RATS or those wind up backpacks or even the fold up accessories that came on action starts cereal would have came in happy meals. I would have been a fat little bastard if happy meals had came with random animals or backpacks or weapons for 3 inch joes..basically this stuff doesn't excit eme unless it is somehow useful to the 3 inch line. I small foxhole of sandbags with a morter or bazooka ( larger weapon) or a raft ( smaller than night landing) scuba gear, skis and a polar bear....theres a lot they oculd have done or still could do that would have me eat8ing that crap for every meal just to get it
I haven't eaten 'fast food' in over a decade and preferably, I wouldn't ever again but, if we had those here I would buy them just fun. The picture of 'Duke' looks like his vintage card art- neat.
