Hmmm...Special Missions WITHIN the main continuation? Okay...let's see it.

Stalker issue but Cover Girl steals the spotlight.
Steven Austin vs GI JOE...that's stone cold!

I'm totally down with this.
In Tom Waltz's "Thanks!" thread he said:
And here's hoping Recondo, Claymore, Spirit, and Muskrat each take the lead in stories focused on them and their areas of expertise!!
HawkWasRight says
This is going to be the best GI Joe 5 part arc of the post 155 1/2 Era. If these one-shot stories are half as good as the last time Hama told similar stories, (a la GI Joe Declassified) we will remember them forever. Seriously the last time Hama did something like this, he gave us Jodi “Shooter” Craig! I haven’t been this excited in advance for ARAH in a couple of years!

Special Missions was always my favorite over the original run. I'm looking forward to this issue.

Funny how that it wasn't all that long ago that ARAH was the worst-selling of all the Joe titles, but now it looks like it's the only one left standing.
I mean it's not actually "funny" as less G.I. Joe is never a good thing, but ARAH has always been far and away my favourite. I'm not as sold on these solo stories as the rest of you, (I much, much prefer G.I. Joe when it's a large team book), but it's Larry Hama so I'll still enjoy it.
