Samara Weaving Becomes Scarlett For G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes

Actress Samara Weaving will don the costume of Shana M. O’Hara a.k.a Scarlett for the upcoming movie G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes.

Ever since the movie was announced, it was inevitable to hear about Scarlett; thanks to her special friendship with our protagonist. Miss Weaving will join her co-stars for the filming of the new movie.

She will replace actress Rachel Nichols for the same role which made her live action debut with 2009’s G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra.

Samara Weaving is an Australian actress, most known for her action roles in ‘Mayhem’ and ‘Ready Or Not’.

    Great. I guess she was in the 3 billboards movie, but I don't remember her in that. Anyway, this is more evidence that this movie will be made.

    If they actually do start filming with Golding as Snake Eyes, I'm done, out. I'll never buy another Hasbro product. Not G.I. Joe, Star Wars, Transformers, Power Rangers, Nerf, nothing. I've been giving them money since I was six years old, but no more.

    Well man, I think it's a thing.
    I think that paramount probably shoulders most of that responsibility though.

    Dude's probably in a mask and not talking for most of the movie. What difference does it make who plays him at that point? They'll probably have stuntmen doing 95% of the physical stuff.

    Maybe, but Hasbro would still be looking to profit off of the film.

    This is a positive for me since, as primarily a comic book fan, I believe that Scarlett should be a big part of Snake Eyes's life. If they eventually have her together with him (not Duke or Rip Cord) that will help me deal with Golding as Snake Eyes.
