Artist Constantine Sekeris has uploaded several concept art images done for Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins.
Included in this first look:
- Snake Eyes
- Storm Shadow
- Scarlett
- Baroness
“Snake Eyes Movie designs I worked on with the talented Costume Designer Louise Mingenbach. We worked on the film and the toys simultaneously. Storm shadow ended up getting pulled back to his original suit, but Hasbro decided to make the toy version haha. Shout out to Constantine Sekeris and Luca Nemolato for doing a phenomenal job on Snake Eyes and Scarlet!”
With these concept art reveals, it is clear where the Core Ninja toy of Storm Shadow originated from.
However, concept art for Baroness is extremely close to the final design.
You can check out all the designs, after the jump.

They shoulda gone with that concept outfit for storm shadow. It looks a whole lot better than that crappy roc looking outfit they settled on.
I like that Storm Shadow outfit. I don't know about anyone else, but I am looking forward to getting my movie figures that are targeted towards kids. Ha. The funny thing about that is that my kids are only mildly interested in the kids figures but they really like the Classified figures. So I ordered more of the kids figures for myself than I did for them!
We were in Augusta for JoeFest when those pre-orders went live and I kept showing them the toys and asking if they wanted them. They passed on the motorcycle figures! I want those silly things.
not a fan of these designs myself.
Interesting though from the Snake Eyes pics... looks like Charlie Hunnam was their first choice to play Snake Eyes .... and Andy Samburg their second lol
Always loved these kind of news. Thank you SilverOptimus!
Swear to god, that Scarlett portrait looks to be a perfect combination of the newer comics arts and Rachel Nichols.
It's really interesting as Baroness has the likenesses of Úrsula Corberó.

Iron Eyes concept would have created an outrage if it became the final version.
I don't like any of them. Just copies from other series
The Scarlett design is a cool upgrade.
