New Value Assortment G.I. Joe 6 Inch Figures

New pics for a cheaper, more simple set of G.I. Joe figures have surfaced thanks to infamous listings detective JtPrime17.  Snake Eyes, Destro and Baroness are 6 inch scale, lower price point figures most likely designed for the younger crowd.  Each come in an open box format with more traditional non-movie packaging.  The figures seem to be using Classified sculpting as a starting point, but of course deviate due to their different engineering.   Listings popped up a couple days ago showing a value assortment coming in at $4.99 each, so that’s a pretty solid deal for a tike getting his first G.I. Joe if these are in fact the same ones.  Read on to check out the pics!

    Huhh they look very similar to the "Titan" Class 10" figures, just... smaller. And different character selection, of course.

    They REALLY want to get the yungins back into GI Joe.The Baroness pic on the box is kind of...frightening.

    These are exactly what I figured a $5 figure would look like. Not for me, of course, but I'm really glad to see the brand getting a push in spite of the film bombing.

    6 inch, 3 Points of articulation, no accessories, and no vehicles. I feel like Hasbro forgot what GI Joe is.

    I mean... WTF kind of action figure did you think $5 was going to buy? you can't even get a jar of peanut butter for that any more. I think you're looking for another thread.

    Not complaining about the price. Complaining that Hasbro seems to have gotten away from what made GI Joe, GI Joe. They've gotten away from making vehicles, highly articulated 3.75/4 inch action figures, and packing their action figures with accessories.

    People that want 6 inch are going to buy the Classified series. I don't see many people buying these.

    I would have much rather seen a $10 budget line in the style of the budget 4 inch Dollar General exclusive waves that sold for $5 a few years back but with vehicles.
