Hasbro is currently hosting its 2022 Investor Day.
During their 2nd panel for Entertainment, Hasbro just revealed that they are continuing with the contract with Paramount Pictures for Live Action Entertainment.
But only for Transformers and G.I. Joe properties.
Other brands will fall under eOne‘s control at the end of the current 5-Year contract with Paramount. eOne is a Hasbro-owned subsidiary.
We hope to hear more during the coming months.

Curious what other brands are moving on from (or not included in) the Paramount deal?
Perhaps Paramount wanted to underpay for TF, Hasbro said "not for that price, what about this one?" and threw in GI Joe as a sympathy freebie license, ha.

That's interesting. With Snake Eyes underperforming, you would think they would want to let it go. Paramount must have a plan, as their shareholders will want answers as to why they are continuing to throw money on what was a big loser for them.

Honestly shocked that GI Joe is still treated as a potential movie after the Lame Eyes debacle. Maybe with the success of Top Gun: Maverick, they'll actually do GI Joe right in a movie.

Wow. Bold move. Let's see if it pays off for them.

As it is, let's see what happens with Rise of the Beasts on the TF side of things. Another Bumblebee-esque "great movie but no one saw it" debacle, combined with China starting to wean off their insane love of the Bay movies, and TF won't be doing much better than Joe. And while you can easily do Joe stories on a TV budget, that isn't true for TF.
