Extreme Sets have been banging out cardboard based Dioramas for a while now, starting with Wrestling themed ones and more recently moving into the Multiverse line that focuses on all genres. Waves 1 and 2 are out and you can check reviews for them over on Toyark. Up until now, these sets have been for 6/7 inch scale figures, so unless you were using it as a far away backdrop in photography, it didn’t really work for G.I. Joe and 3.75 figures. The Command Station set changes that. It is designed for 3.75 scale figures and is huge, spanning 2 stories at 16 inches tall, and roughly 60 inches wide depending on how you configure it all. It gives you an instant base for your Joes or Cobras for use in photography or just out on display with your collection. This is not specific to G.I. Joe either, so you can use it with any 1/18th scale line that you think it fits with.
We’ve done up a detailed set of pictures showing what it can do, so read on to check out over 45 HD images of the Joe team hanging out in their makeshift base!
Also of note: The fine folks at Extreme-Sets.com have given us a coupon code for a discount on your orders. Enter code TOYARK at checkout and get 10% off your order!

Key shots:
I didn't know there was a Joe themed set!
Looks cool but I think it would look better with Cobras.
Let me sing the praises of extreme sets ! I bought the wrestling sets and even though they are cardboard, they are thick high quality sets. I love the wrestling sets. Cannot wait to get two or three of these sets.
Ok having trouble with site. Can't find a simple answer. How much is the set.and how much is shipping
The set is $49.99 but the coupon code is 10% ($5) off. I would probably pull the trigger if it was closer to $30. It looks awesome, but for that much money I want plastic, not cardboard.
Shipping to my location (Pittsburgh, PA) was $23.15 to Priority 2 Day or $21.99 for Retail Ground. I must have screwed something up when entering my info, because I cannot fathom how shipping can possibly be that much.
Even if I was going to buy it for $45-$50 the shipping charge would be a deal breaker. However there is free shipping on orders over $120.
EDIT:
Just watched the tutorial for this set and the box it comes in is huge and heavy, so that is why shipping is so expensive. I keep going back and looking at the pics because as JediJones said above I think this would look sweet with Cobras. I feel so conflicted...
This looks great and I almost bought it as soon as I saw these pics but the shipping kinda knocked some sense into me. I'll likely only set it up once and then store it away but damn its going to look amazing with all of my Joes displayed side by side. I might wait to see more pics but I'm thinking there's a bit too much space between the bottom level and the top balcony, the GIJoe logo in the pic above does help a bit though.
I'll probably have one by next week even though I really don't need it. I'm thinking you can get at least 50 joes set up around that looking awesome.
Has anyone heard if Extreme Sets has plans for further 1/18 sets. The buildings they released for 1/12 are awesome.
I was wondering the same thing...
I can't figure what figure this is... can anyone help me out?
