A week ago, we announced an invitation by the developers of G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra regarding a Community Playtest. However, the devs did not disclose a date for the event.
Today, we have learned through IARC (International Age Rating Coalition) that the game has been submitted for a formal rating. This would indicate that the game is ready for public testing.

- Classified Date: September 1st, 2023
- Classification: PG
- Classification Details: Mild Violence
- Production Company: Freedom Games
Judging by IARC’s PG rating, we expect the ESRB rating to be ‘T for Teen’, and the PEGI rating to be PEGI-12.
The game is expected to be released worldwide in 2024.

The screenshots remind me of that vintage TMNT game or Contra game. I am kind of excited about it going with the cartoonish look.

I wonder why Hasbro didn't go for DOTEMU on this? It honestly looks fun but lacks the polish they would have provided and not make this look so "mobile game" like.
I wish they woulda used falcon jinx flash covergirl and shipwreck insteada the usual 5. Ill get it but i swear i want a free roaming game. Operation blackout was fun and i liked the 3d so maybe one day we will get a proper 3d free roaming game.
Nevermind, it's Freedom Games- they essentially specialize is creating budget titles for developers and property holders too small to go to a larger label...yeah...Hasbro cheaped out lol.
