CinemaCon has announced its 2020 lineup of presentations; showcasing never-before-seen trailers, tidbits and footage from various upcoming movies for the year.
Naturally, our [snake] eyes are on the presentation that is to be held on 2nd of April.
Titled as ‘Paramount Pictures Invites You To An Exclusive Presentation Highlighting Its Upcoming Slate‘, the event will go on for 1.5 hours.
Paramount delivers one of the most prominent of presentations at CinemaCon and it is customary for them to bring in the main stars from the movies they’ll showcase during the panel.
While Jim Carrey (Dr. Robotnik) was the star last year with first time footage from the movie (Sonic The Hedgehog — prior to the delay), Paramount is said to bring Henry Golding (Snake Eyes) to this year’s presentation.
Now, it isn’t hard to put two and two together. CinemaCon 2019 had a mock-trailer for the Snake Eyes movie with footage from G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra and G.I. Joe: Retaliation, but the 2020 edition will most definitely have at least a Teaser Trailer from Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins. If we look into the past, this was always the case with Paramount movies even if they are still in the last stages of production (eg. Transformers: Bumblebee).
CinemaCon is for the invited journalists only. But, we’ve never seen any restrictions placed on footage descriptions. This is exactly why CinemaCon is a hit among any fandom. You’ll at least get to read about it.

if the film doesn't get pushed, I fully expect a trailer in April.

I wouldn't be surprised if alot of movies got pushed back to next year given the fact with everyone going cray cray over the Coronavirus, less people will be willing to go to the theaters.
