First step- don't divide the fan base with misguided casting decisions that help tank a movie (and franchise) before it even gets started. And then get fired.
Second step- profit.

Well that is one good sign that they have new openings and they are hiring for it. Looks like this person is going to have to read through Hiss Tanks here.

Dear Person Who Gets This Job
Don't over-focus on the Big Names and Big Concepts. Draw upon lesser used or never used options. Example; "Zarana is the sister of Zartan." Big Name, well known and overused concept. A little digging will reveal Zarana has a twin named Zandar. Use him and this relation to make the Zartan and the Dreadnoks aspect of GI Joe grow.
Dreadnok Twins says
That actually sounds very fulfilling. Too bad I can't organize worth a damn.

Most of the time a marketing talking head either in college to get their marketing degree or fresh out of college, but with no vested interest in the brand they're supporting, gets this gig. However it really sounds like this time they want someone dialed into the fan community and social media as they specifically call this out in the listing. Let's hope whoever gets this job actually cares about the community and wants to ensure that our voices are heard. After all we're the ones buying up Classified and Retro like they're going out of style.
