Sakura Elven Assassin, Cerisier Photo Shoot
It’s been a while since we have done a photo shoot for the Tank and I’m glad we have an update for you. We recently received our brand spanking new Sakura Elven Assassin, Cerisier from Boss Fight Studio. This figure is off the charts awesome for any fantasy games fan of any kind or fantasy art lover. Lets not even get started with the connection to MTG and D&D. If your into Boss Fight Studio action figures this is one I would not pass on.
Order you here Sakura Elven Assassin, Cerisier from Boss Fight Studio.
“Guardians of the elven queen, members of this elite corps of archers bathe daily in dark ink, to maintain the gray color of their skin. Taking their orders directly from Queen Solan, they are her protectors and personal assassins. As a part of their duties to the queen, they take on an oath of silence. Their voices are removed permanently and irreversibly, using a magical spell. Their eyes have been altered so that they can see in pitch blackness. Moving undetectably and noiselessly, their natural home is in the dark. The last thing many an enemy of the Elves has felt is the cold blade of a Sakura Elf, silently draining their life away.”

Hasbro Applies For G. I. Joe Logo Trademark
Hasbro has recently applied for the G. I. Joe logo trademark at the United States Patent And Trademark Office.
What’s interesting is the fact that they have applied for the log0 which we saw during the 80s Era of G. I. Joe rather than the modern one. The document submitted contains an attachment with the logo under the description of “The mark consists of the words G.I. JOE followed by three bars, with a star on top of the “J” in the JOE portion”.
The trademark is filed under “Toy action figures and accessories for use therewith”.
While we believe that this may have been a move on Hasbro’s part to strengthen their trademark portfolio by renewing old ones, we cannot help but wonder if this means new action figures. In fact, It was not too long ago that we heard Hasbro planning to revitalize the brand.
You can check out additional information and the logo, after the jump.

Super Articulated Blanks 6-Inch Scale Figure – Kickstarter
A new Kickstarter is live for a new series of “blank” action figures. The Super Articulated Blanks 1/12 Scale Figures will be pure base figures with no designs or accessories, giving customizers a nice base figure to start with. The campaign is being run by Cryptid Toys. You may remember them from their first Kickstarter for their Army Alphas, which ultimately was cancelled. They are starting with a 6″ scale Skeleton, but base male and female body types can be unlocked once stretch goals are met. The project needs to reach $30,000 for the Skeleton to be funded. See details below and check out the Kickstarter Page for more.
The time has finally come for 1:12 (6 inch) Super Articulated Blanks! Super Articulated Blanks will be great for customizers in need of base figures, artists looking for drawing models, or collectors who just want to add some more figures to their collections.
Each action figure has all the necessary points of articulation that collectors have come to expect in addition to interchangeable parts. These figures are in scale with Marvel Legends, DC Multiverse, DC Universe Classics, Mezco’s One:12 Collective, and many other collector lines.
The Skeleton is the first figure offered and will be available in Bone, Grey, and Black. Each Skeleton currently comes with an extra set of gripping hands. Stretch goals for different colors and additional parts to be included with each figure at no extra cost will be unlocked should the funding goal meet the indicated amounts.
Brand new Male and Female blanks will be unlocked if the funding level reaches those stretch goal amounts as well!
Figures will be packaged on a blister card.
Everything should be ready to ship to backers in July of 2018.
