Update 6/23/2019: Our investigation confirmed what we deduced yesterday. The schedule is indeed for the sequel of the Netflix movie. However, G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes now has a production office established in Canada. It’s only a matter of time until we hear our first official news from the set.
Original Post:
British Colombia and Vancouver filming news site Hollywood North claims that G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes principal photography will take place from September 23rd to December 19th in Vancouver.
The site also denotes that the movie will be filmed under the working title ‘Christmas Chronicles 2’.
However, it is best to take this info with a grain of salt, since the original source of this news is the official website of the Directors Guild of Canada.
According to the DGC site, the Canadian production manager for the movie is Jessica Cheung; who also happens to be the assistant production manager of the 2018 Netflix movie ‘The Christmas Chronicles’.
Although Snake Eyes is slated to film in Vancouver, we do not believe that this info is correct. However, the schedule does fall in line with the earlier known info regarding the revised Fall/Autumn filming schedule.
The info would have been much clearer if the sheet actually contained the name of the director, much like other movies on the list.
